In 1991, the American journal Islands Magazine counted this beach as one of the ten most beautiful beaches on earth ... Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, souther
n Iceland.
Legend says that the stacks originated when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock.[1]Earth. Its stretch of black basalt sand is one of the wettest places in Iceland.
