I took a walk in Garphyttan National Reserve
the other day. I had forgotten that it had fallen
30 cm of snow and the last storm had broken
a lot of trees. I had to struggle, crawl and creep
under trees whilst the snow from bent birches
fell all over me. I was stupid enough to carry
my 500mm with tripod and all ( about 10 kg)
on my shoulder during the walk. I
stopped for a cup of tea and a cheese sandwich
and I was as happy as I could be.
