We decided to end our bike tour in Los Osos rather than ride back to San Jose. Instead, at the last minute, Geno and I plan to travel with Dick in his van to the Sequoia National Park in the southern Sierras for more hiking and birding. It was a great bike tour and a wonderful way to start my retirement. The California coast from the Russian River to the Los Osos is both beautiful and dramatic. Well worth a journey by bike. Thank you Jay and Cathy for your generosity and hospitality.
