Burning Juniper Incense

From time immemorial Tibetans have used incense from Juniper leaves and pine needles to perform BSANG GSOL or purification ceremonies and hoisted colorful prayer flags on high hills and mountains to appease and worship the gods and goddesses on near lakes or springs and streams to appease the spirits and serpents of water KLU, not only to ensure good crops and a disease-free environment but also to fill the community with a serene sense of peace, health and harmony
