It is a closely allied species, but in the male the black borders are broader and it is the only species in Malaya with a black and white female.

Note Fleming L378 male upperside should be C. santana and not C. bullis.

C. bullis. In the spps with an oblique band the black border in space 1 on the fwing covers nearly 1/2 the area in bullis, 1/3 in santana, usually 1/3 in sperthis and a little in felderi.
