Dave and I took a week-long cruise on Royal Caribbean's "Vision of the Sea" late August, 2003, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This gallery is in order by subject, with outside/ inside ship photos, Vancouver, B.C., Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, all flowers and lastly, quilts.
I was VERY disappointed to find out that while going thru the x-ray machines at airports/customs most of my rolls of film were damaged even though the x-ray technician said only film speeds 800 or higher could be damaged (ours were all 400 speed). The film processing tech said he's seen similar damage (from x-raying) in ALL speeds. During our last 2 days of the trip I didn't use my digital so we lost great pictures of whales, eagles, etc., not to mention some AWESOME scenery that I knew I'd taken with my Canon.
