Belfast's Assistant Harbor Master, Howard Whitcomb, drops off Bangor Daily News photographer, Gabor Degre, at Bayside's Wharf. It is 10:45 am and he relays that they just heard on the radio that the Coast Guard has called off the search for the missing pilot, Douglas Low, of the plane that crashed into the Bay on Sunday evening. They had been out searching the coast for debris.
