Sunrise at the Little River

I had accidentally left a couple of things at home this morning (one of them my camera), and even though I knew it would make me late, I went back home. And talk about perfect timing, this was the reward on my way out of town. I caught a beautiful sunrise where the Little River joins Penobscot Bay. The sun is rising over the island of Islesboro.

(And now if I can just force myself to carry and USE a tripod too -- the horizon line is off by about .5 degrees; just enough to feel slightly slanted.)
