Free Lens Test

A 1:1 crop from a test shot from this old m42 screwmount lens. I was showing off my Pentax Auto 110
to one of my students who is in the photography program on campus, and she asked me if I had any
Pentax 35mm cameras. Of course I do! She asked me if I wanted this lens she had that would not fit
on her Canon 40d. Sure, I can always use another lens for the K1000. It turns out she had an old
Rokunar 300mm screwmount lens, with a 2x converter. I picked up an m42 to Nikon F mount adapter to
use it on the D200 since it is a universal lens. It was dark when I got it in the mail tonight, so
this is just a quick shot to see if the lens even worked. It does!

Those lenses are really better than modern lenses. For instance the 105mm vr is a dog.
