Progress as noted by citizen journalist

The old church and old library building are gone, along with about five 1920's era houses to make room
for the new middle school. The new school will be a welcome addition to the area, but it's too bad
that the old building can't be integrated into the design. The plan for construction makes it
impossible, since the new building will be constructed and completed before the old one is abandoned
and demolished. My back is toward the school in this shot. I was facing the school in the linked one
below.
