communication

Totally Informal Transglobal Thursday Challenge: Communication - click to see others

amateur radio.. cw.. ahh those were the days! It was all about communication.
This was my first (of many) keys. There were others that were way cool, but
financially I had to sell them during hard times. I would never part with this one.
I learned morse code on it.. using a battery powered oscillator to send code to myself,
so I could hear and learn. The paddle was custom made by a fabulous old railroad op W7CHN
who is long ago a silent key. He taught me a lot, pushing my abilities on the airwaves.
I keep my callsign, even though I have not been on the air in decades. KM7Z .. that's me.

What a relief...I thought you rigged something up for those who weren't co-operating with you....to which I say; YES MAM!

Pretty neat though, I'm afraid I'd have to put this in my practical joke box

I am told amateur radio is a great past-time.
I would like to take the test for a license; but I guess I will have to study first...LOL.
