9/11 flag

Hosted by VWF post 8242, this flag is huge! I measures 65' x 112' and was flown until 11am,
when it was then lowered to a gun and bugle salute by the color honor guard. This flag
was made right after 9/11/2001 in honor of that day and has flown each anniversary.
It will be retired from from flying on this 9/11 anniversary date.

Janet, the owner wanted to retire it on the 10th anniversary, not sure of the reasons totally but seems he is attached to it and just can't let it go. Perhaps they can get it cleaned, you can see many repairs have been done to it so maybe he thought it was time? dunno
