Telč

Telč, pronounced Telch, is in the southern Moravia region of the Czech Republic. Surprisingly the town of 6,000 people possesses one of Europe’s largest and most beautiful squares. Náměstí Zachariáše z Hradce (Zacharias of Hradec Square) is surrounded by arcaded buildings rebuilt in the late 16th century with Renaissance façades. Some were later remodeled with Baroque or Rococo façades.

I spent 4 days in Telč which included a side trip to the wonderful small town of Slavonice.
