Downy rattlesnake plantain orchid (Goodyera pubescens)

Lavigne Natural Park, Bourget

The flowers are past their best by date, I was too late to catch them in their prime. I know of only a few places in the region to see this plant, though it is not a rare species.

The top flowers are closest to prime so I can imagine what it would have looked like earlier. A very pretty plant and you've got all the details so sharp - lots of little bristles.

Great detail and wonderful tones. Still beautiful after their prime. "V"
