Black-etched prominent moth caterpillar (Tecmessa scitiscripta), #7942

Larose Forest

This beautiful lime green moth larva was on a willow shrub in the forest. When this species is alarmed it shoots out the yellowish threadlike tentacles from its anal prolegs.
