We were driving a small car and somehow thought we could drive this road up Cerre Jefe to get to some good birding spots. This is part of Chagres National Park, but whether it was a park when we were there in 1987, I don't know. We eventually abandoned the poor car and carried on on foot.

That looks like a serious exploration in a 2WD of the type I am at times prone too. I hope for your efforts you saw some good birds.
