There were masses of this beautiful little carnivorous plant. Many insects had become trapped, food for the plant. Carnivorous plants fascinate because the concept of plants eating living creatures is quite bizarre.
I love sundew! In one of my little 'words and photos', beside a sundew photo, I wrote "Considering how many plants humans devour, I can't fault sundew for taking a bite from higher up the food chain. Can you?"!
