I managed a closer shot of this oddly endearing looking little planthopper today. They are quite small, ranging from 9.5 to 11 mm, less than half an inch. Always found on the underside of leaves.

It looks like it could run or fly but not jump. Great detailed capture of this odd looking insect. To anthropomorphize, it seems to have a comical expression. V.
