Watson's Corners

Inadvertently brought home a couple of dog ticks from our excursion to an area of old field and woodland... One tick was on Sasha, the other crawling across the dashboard of the car. It is an attractive creature, however.

attractive little blighter, yet some ticks carry dangerous illnesses, so they do inspire a wariness too....what a fine shot this is though...the crinkly background adds a certain electric presence..
