The first two shots are of the same individual, from the back and from the side. The third shot is of another individual on another plant. It is somewhat darker. This species feeds only on Tall Meadow-rue (Thalictrum pubescens). I have looked at every meadow-rue plant I find and only three times have I come across these attractive caterpillars.
