Underwing moth caterpillar, possibly Catocala cerogama, #8802

Reveler Conservation Area

This large caterpillar was on a basswood tree. The Yellow-banded underwings (C. cerogama) apparently feed almost entirely on basswood, and as this one looks almost identical to those in Bug Guide, I am going to give it that tentative ID.
