Young red squirrels

Too young and incautious to be afraid, so I was able to approach fairly close for these photos on the side of my house. I admit that I find red squirrels endlessly cute and adorable and never get tired of seeing and photographing them. I must have countless hundreds of red squirrel photos!

Such a cute shot! I agree. They are awesome. I found a nest in my tractor engine compartment once. Luckily the youngsters survived the garden tilling and when I put the nest in a sheltered box where the tractor was parked, mom came back and moved the babies to a new location. :-)
