Black-capped chickadee

Mer Bleue area

Taken a few years ago in early winter. The ever cheerful chickadee is everyone's favourite, especially on a cold winter day when they seem to be always burbling with happiness! Of course, that is being anthropomorphic, we don't really know that they are "happy", but we like to think so!

Yes - you are right Christine, they always look so happy! Very similar to our marsh tits...
This is an outstanding close up!

Occasionally we can allow some anthropomorphism, especially when inspired by these lively fluffy balls with such tiny bills!

What would winter be without the chickadees! Sweet photo.
