Poison ivy (Toxicodendron rydbergii)

For those sensitive to poison ivy, there is no off-season because the leaves, stems, flowers, and fruit can all cause a severe allergic reaction. In late autumn and winter, it is fairly inconspicuous and the white berries don't immediately shout 'poison ivy'!!

Good to know about the berries - it also can grow as a vine which fooled my husband in the past.

Looks like more of a tree, or is that the end of a vine?

So pretty for something so harmful. Looks can deceive. V

'you can look but you'd better not touch'...so resoundingly attractive despite the risk..
