This large sawfly was sitting on a willow leaf. After I took a few photos from behind, he flew to another small willow nearby and turned around, as in this photo, as if exasperated with being photographed. Despite their name, these are not flies, but members of the Hymenoptera, bees and wasps, and while large, they are harmless.
