Willow Calligrapha beetle (Calligrapha multipunctata)

Found in Larose Forest on a willow. This is the time of year to find the Calligraphic beetles, of which there are many species. They belong to the Chrysomelidae family, the leaf-eating beetles. Most Chrysomelids are beautifully patterned and coloured.
