This is a spectacular little native wild ordhid. It grows in fens and in this region is considered rare with only a few locations known. We slogged through black ash swamps in mud and water up to our knees to get to a remote fen where these little beauties grow. Associated plants are labrador tea, bog rosemary, and hundreds of pitcher plants.
