#11: Green lacewing egg on ragweed leaf

A minuscule egg that is hung by a stiff thread on vegetation. Out of this comes the delicate and ethereal green lacewing with the lacy wings and big golden eyes. They are one of the beneficial insects used for control of garden pests/
