Splendid dwarf spider (Hypselistes florens)

This very small spider (2-3mm) was found in a meadow area in the west end of Ottawa. These delicate little creatures spin tiny webs on the ground to trap very small invertebrates.

I am pretty sure I have seen this little guy in my garden. I figured because of its coloring, it is somewhat dangerous. Anyway this macro is terrific !!
