Cedar waxwing

Along with robins (next image), these waxwings were busily eating the berries of the red cedar (juniper) tree, which fortunately was a very large one full of berries.

Fantastic! This is a great shot - all the technicals are perfect - and the light colored juniper berries add more interest since waxwings are usually photographed here devouring red crabapples or dark buckthorn berries. It's something different.
