Found on an ox-eye daisy in Larose Forest, during the 2010 BioBlitz. Crab spider photos often show them with prey. They are adept at catching insects and other spiders. They lie patiently in wait, often nearly invisible, and then, at the last moment, they pounce, almost always catching their victim. The variety of insects caught by these females is amazing: butterflies, bees, beetles, flies, moths, etc.
