Flower-scattering wind

Seeing the petals of this magnolia scattered already by the wind and rain so soon after blooming, I was reminded of this poem by Sosei the monk, that I first came across many years ago when I was 18. I thought it was so lovely that I copied it and kept it with me all these years!

A beautiful expression, both yours and the poet"s...A thought that is familiar, but few are able to verbalize. An awesome combination, more please. VVV
