Bohemian waxwings eating snow and grit

You can see one waxwing with a beakful of snow and another with a bit of grit. The wing marks in the previous photo are made when the waxwings land in the snow.

What a crowd! This looks very familiar! You caught one eating a piece of grit in mid-air too! I always seem to miss getting the mid-air shots like this.
