Dogwood Calligrapher beetle (Calligrapher philadelphica)

On a dogwood shrub at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden. One of my favourite beetles - I find them extremely beautiful with those intricate patterns. There are many types of Calligraphic beetles, some are quite colourful, but these ones with the more muted colours are elegant.
