Weddin Mountains National Park, near Grenfell, consists mainly of a small rocky range of mountains hardly affected by human intervention, in marked contrast with the surrounding plains, which have long been cleared and much modified for wheat farming and grazing. Included in the park are the remains of "Seaton's Farm" where a couple battled for some thirty years to make a living out of most unpromising country at the foot of the range. When Jim Seaton died, National Parks bought his land. I photographed the information board to give more details of the history of Seatons Farm.
