A path leads from the main house through the bush to a lookout over Jamieson
Valley, with this view down to the right. A map in the brochure shows a dam
further down to provide water for the gardens; we couldn't see the dam, but
we saw a pair of magnificent black cockatoos attending to a hole in a tree.
