The sign at the "rest area" just off the highway in Bodalla State Forest points to a "scenic
forest walk" to Lake Mummuga. There is some quiet propaganda here from the forestry people.
They are out to show that logging does not necessarily mean the destruction claimed by their
greener political opponents. According to the signs, this area was logged about 50 years ago.
