Nothing like a flat tyre to relieve boredom on a long dreary road. That black speck on the road in
the distance is the spare wheel which had been secured by one bolt on the front of the trailer. I
hadn't tightened this well enough: the corrugations in the road loosened everything so that the spare
wheel fell off and this trailer wheel hit it. But when I took the picture (in moments of stress,
always take a picture first) I hadn’t figured that out and hadn’t even noticed the spare had gone.
