When driving past this Pretty Faced Wallaby I noticed she had an ear injury at some time, but also an inquisitive Joey in the pouch.
Had to stop and get a quick shot on my phone as they make a move if they feel danger.

Many years ago I hand raised 2 of these after their mothers were killed by wild dogs. They are much smaller than the large Grey and Red Kangaroo, however there is still power in those feet. They sit back on their tail and bring up both feet. One of mine always waited until I was hanging bedsheets on the line. I knew she was there when I was sat back on my rear. Both were free to leave and did so when they were ready.
