Wye River

It looks almost like an abstract painting, but it is in fact the landscape following the Christmas Day 2015 bushfires that took 116 homes & 2080hectares of land...this week torrential rain has caused landslips over the Great Ocean Road that we travelled over just 2 weeks ago

Puzzling abstraction with the twisted trees and brush... but I detect green growth and a little recovery. Always sad to see homes lost in the bush fires.

Those twisty tree trunks do indeed make an interesting abstract design! Drought, fire and rain... takes a toll on the earth.
