We drive through Lennox Head on the way to Yamba...stopped for lunch at the bakery in the main street and took this shot on the way back to the car.Note how dry the grass is as we go though another month of terrible drought....In Qld where I live 78% of the state has been declared drought stricken and it is the largest area to be so at one time since records began over 100 yrs ago. Most of the state being cattle country it is crippling the the men, women and children who have worked their land for several generations.
The headland is where I took this shot below a few years back and it's where we watched whales heading north and south over their migration period last August.
