Atmosphere

For Lichens and Mosses to grow you need the right atmosphere...
I certainly have that in my Queensland sub tropical climate. The light coming through the tall trees beyond helped to create the mood don't you think ?

Love this, we have lots of lichen but it's more sub zero than sub tropical.

Unlike Qld we are certainly not sub-tropical but like you we do have clean, clear air and therefore lichen.

It has bundles of that; not only the sharply defined texture of the foreground against the soft background, but even the echoing of the colours. Green against different green, white against different white.
