In the late 1800's rock was quarried from this area right on the edge of the coastline...about 40mt behind my shoulder. The holes filled and for a long time were popular swimming holes....there is Blue Pool & Green Pool.
Unfortunately algal bloom has made this an unsafe place to do so...still looks lovely though.
