The X-Men Mansion

The X-Men Mansion or Xavier's School for gifted Youngsters or as it is known to Canadians Hatley Castle. This estate is in Victoria and was used for the X Men Set for the last two films.
James Dunsmuir, former premier and lieutenant-governor of British Columbia bought the property in 1906 and built Hately Castle three years later. In 1940 the Government of Canada established a navel training college and it was renamed Royal Roads Military College. It is now leased by the B.C. Provincial Government who have established Royal Roads University. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained as a public park.

Hi Jess,
A really wonderful and interesting scene. It must lack sunlight on the backside as I can see moss growing back there. Excellent capture of the stone. \/
