St. David's Park in Hobart was the site of Hobart's first cemetery as it established and grew. The old headstones and grave markers were mounted in these memorial walls to preserve them though the soft sandstone used in most is flaking and pitting. I took these shots because I love the warm colours and textures of the sandstone and the contrast with some of the cooler grays of the grave markers.
