Gooseneck loosestrife can grow to 30 inches tall. It has opposite leaves and drooping spikes of pure white flowers, which bloom July through August. In any one clump, all of the flower spikes point in the same direction, appearing like a gaggle of geese on the run.
Despite the fact that its characteristic gooseneck flowers are very cute, this is an aggressive non-native plant and considered an invasive species.
