Everything made today has planned obsolescence built into it. Here is an object that has stood the test of time.
The first patent was applied for in 1852 and there are only two wooden clothespin manufacturers left in the United States
Ok, so maybe almost everyone uses a clothes dryer these days. But clothespins have other uses. Like closing snack bags, hanging pants and skirts from hangers and of course, painting them to make little toy soldiers.
No fabric freshener sheet can mimic the smell of air dryed sheets.
And they last about 100 years unlike plastic versions that have replaced them.. :)
