1, Looks sunny bright and light. Reminds me of parts of Queens Blvd.circa 1980, on a good day.

2. At the upper left there's a walk-up with a fire-escape staircase. Isn't that
100th street? No buildings like that there now. Artistic license?

3. Futuristic rendering. No sign of the buildings that are there now. Are they out of view? Maybe out the long-range plans. Big trend in real estate is the tear-down/build bigger concept.

4. Could be co-developer/sponsor Gluckenspiel, over the long term, will buy out occupants or force them out of the park west rentals and mondo condos with neglect--bad heating, parking lot collapse, rusty water, foundation damage due to 808 construction forcing evacuaton for residents' safety, etc.) Then, build bigger structures in the area, re-zoned for office use with business, goverment, medical and university tenant/shareholders. Turns 808 Columbus area into bustling new work/residence/ and destination play place for multi-national executives and students. Think Dallas with a touch of Hong Kong. New tax revenues pour in---politicians applaud. Former residents move to Queens Blvd. Feel betrayed and out-smarted. Develop uncontrollable rage and psychosematic symptons identified as Park West syndrome. Mayor Scott Springer appeals to
Senator Mike Bloomberg for government humanitarian aid. Boss Mike opens federal clinic in area teams with Bono for fund-raiser in new Yankee stadium.
