Trans America 1982

On June 1, 1982, I and a very good friend started on a journey that will forever fill my mind with the sights and sounds of this great land called America. Our journey westward by wheels and will. A trip by bicycle of approximatly 4,500 miles in a nearly completed loop. Starting from Muncie, IN (AKA Middle Town America) up through the U.P. of Michigan to the Pacific Northwest then down the coast to Eureka CA turning eastward via Lake Tahoe and finally ending in Craig CO. These shots are a few favorites from an old and dusty slide collection scanned on a passable HP S20.
