Actually I think it's a very out-of-focus lens cap, but I like out-of-focus photos when they are done with artistry, and this is a pretty cool outer-space-looking sort of thing. Worth a vote for coolness and cleverness. - Warren
Thanks MCsaba. Its an interesting thing to think about 'what constitutes a photograph'. Its true that as I didn't remove the lens cap, no light got recorded onto the CCD, however I suppose what we are seeing here is a visual representation of the sensors response to heat, it is still an image. Does an Xray count? no light as such is involved there either, so it it a picture? Cor blimey ... too deep for my little brain! Ga.
Very nice idea: the absolute low light as our present technical equvipment recognises. I'm not sure how to interpret the picture as a photograph (you do not removed the lens cap) but the idea is first class! MCsaba
